Mediator Helper

A Reality Testing Tool for Mediation

Mediator Helperâ„¢ is a product that mediators can use during mediations to help persuade parties about potential weaknesses in their cases. An artificially intelligent aiADR arbitrator reviews all of the material provided to a mediator and produces two draft decisions, with detailed reasons, one in favour of each party. The length of each decision ranges from a few pages in simpler matters to about ten pages in complex ones.

Tried and Trusted

Mediators who have used Mediator Helper in this way have said that it often results in parties being much more open to settlement options than before reading the decision, and much more open than just hearing the mediator do traditional reality testing.

The draft written decisions provided by Mediator Helper are based on the materials provided by the parties. The AI decision-maker does not hallucinate and does not conduct its own research. The AI decision-maker has been trained in the law and taught how to write clear, reasoned decisions in favour of each party, based on how judges and arbitrators write decisions.
